CATYDAN was created in 2023, and was born from the need to create a family business dedicated to beekeeping. Although there was already a previous company (Colmenares San Ignacio), this belonged only to Segundo García. Today CATYDAN is made up of Segundo García, Marcela García and Eduardo García.  This arises from the need to want to work in a more familiar way and contribute a little to the environment and generate better quality bees and queens.

The purpose of CATYDAN is to sell queens and bees of better genetic and productive quality in order to benefit each buyer and our bees themselves.

CATYDAN has the support of more than 40 years of beekeeping experience from Segundo García, specialized in raising queens by taking courses abroad and locally, being the queen breeder of Apícola Quillayes for approximately 20 years.
